Description: Merv Davey is often credited with kickstarting the revival of Cornish traditional music. As well as helping to organise the Lowender Peran festival since the late 1970s Merv has composed many tunes, completed a PhD on Cornish music, and is an accomplished harpist, piper and banjo player. He is a bard of Gorsedh Kernow and a former grand bard. It’s impossible to list everything he has done for the world of Cornish music and dance.
